Making a sale
Taking payment on the POS is three moves: find the product, choose the payment method, take the money. This video shows it from start to finish.
The steps, in short
- Add the products to the basket. You can scan the barcode, or search for the product by name and click it.
- Check the basket. From there you can change the quantity on a line, or remove it if you’ve made a mistake.
- Click Take payment and choose the method: cash, card or whichever you’ve set up. If you’re taking cash, type what the customer hands you and the POS works out the change.
- Confirm. The sale is recorded and the receipt prints automatically if you’ve set your printer up.

After the sale
If you’ve made a mistake or the customer changes their mind, there’s no need to start again: you can change the payment method on a completed sale, void it, or reprint the receipt.change the payment methodvoid itreprint the receipt
And if you want the sale recorded against a particular customer — to keep their history or to invoice them — you can add the customer to the sale before taking payment.add the customer to the sale
